After the hike to Havasu Falls, I spent a couple nights in Tucson to do things there but it was getting hot and it takes a long time to cool down at night, so I spent a couple days at Forest Service Land Pena Blanca outside of Nogales, AZ
It was about 5 degrees cooler here than Tucson and that made it nice. It's also a place to take leisurely walks/hikes.
It costs $10.00 per night but with my National Park pass I pay half price.
It makes for a great deal.
Since this area is on the boarder and is known for illegals crossing the border there are boarder control agents through the area all day.
