Moab Brewery - Wednesday, 3/16/16 (Day 73)

Getting into Moab late in the evening Wednesday, 3/16/16 (Day 73), I saw the Moab Brewery listed as a restaurant.

It was about 8:00 pm and it was crowded with a 15 minutes wait to be seated.  The host was right on the timing.

I had a Rocket Bike Lager and a burger.

It was fun to look at the high ceilings with all kinds of things hanging from it.  There were all kinds of items and parts related to things to do in the Mosb area.

The beer arrived timely and was good with a smooth taste.  The burger took a bit of time as the waitress had conveyed, was done the way I wanted.  So the food and brew was excellent.

The service continued superior with the waitress managing expectations about the amount of time it would take for the order due to it being a busy night.

If your in Moab, UT the Moab Brewery is a great place for brew and food, with excellent service.

I have reviewed a few breweries on my travels and I have to say I am still working on my tastebuds as to how to describe beer.  I recently met a woman online who is the real thing when it comes to craft beer reviewing. She should be a great asset to helping describing the beer I like to drink.  Hopefully some day our paths will cross so she can help educate me as to how I describe what I'm looking for.

For now I like traditional German style lager beer with a smooth crisp taste.  I don't like a hoppy beer for its aftertaste.  I don't mind a fruity beer and some IPA's that don't leave an aftertaste.

    1. Brent,

I would have thought it would have been an squired skill not a trained skill.

  2. Chief,

Perhaps a Tree House Brewing (Monson, MA) Julius will change your mind with regard to what an IPA can be. An asolutley delicious "juice bomb" with a very smooth finish.
