Devil's Garden - Grand Staircase- Escalante NM

Situated more on the northern end of Hole in the rock Road is Devil's Garden - Grand Staircase- Escalante National Monument

This stop is reasonably close to the Town of Escalante, UT off RT12 that runs east and west at this point.  It also doesn't require 4x4 or high clearance vehicle like some other stops on Hole in the rock Road.  

This stop at Devil's Garden on Hole in the rock wall is one of the few that has put toilets. 

This stop was later in the afternoon, and with the sun low it gives this odd structures more interest.

Since Devil's Garden is a short drive off of Hole in the rock Road, and the parking lot is at the structures, it is easily visited.

When visiting make sure you get out and walk a bit to the rear of the first spires you see as that are many interesting in the rear

This stop also has one of the few pit toilets along this very remote, but well traveled Hole In The Rock Road.
